Some of the problems related to leaks in the water system on this Motor Home had gone unnoticed for several years resulting in unseen damage. One of the indicators that a water leak is present is the pressure pump automatically starting and running without any taps or water being used. So far I have found three of these.

One was a slow leak behind the water distribution panel caused by an incorrectly installed pex seal. This resulted in the rusting out of a 1″ x 1″ cross member under the water bay. A second leak was found hidden in the corner of the slideout wall where the pex lines supplied hot water and cold water to the kitchen faucet. A third slow leak was found at the water heater where someone had unsuccessfully attempted to patch the leak with a sealant.
