Replacing the battery isolator with a boost solenoid

This project shows how to replace the battery isolator with a continuous duty solenoid. The boost switch closes the boost solenoid to join the chassis batteries to the house batteries to start the main engine when the chassis batteries are low in charge. This project replaces the electronic diode system (the isolator) and uses the existing boost solenoid in its place. In the event of failure of the alternator the generator can be run to supply power to the chassis batteries. (this can also be done with the isolator). This project also describes replacing the echo charger with a battery tender.
