Information from past posts (all the way back to about the year 2000) on topics will be added here, for example all the posts about the topic steering box will be added as “Steering Box”. I have a method to search, extract and post the results from a database of all the two Safari groups.
The information on this page is a zip file containing all the posts as HTML (web files).
Using the zip file is very simple and has a number of advantages. Do not be concerned about the HTML nomenclature. this works effectively on a PC or MAC and a cell phone (this has been tested on an Android phone). On a cell phone, just download and click on the file, (you may have to locate the file folder and navigate to the other index pages manually (but usually not it will appear in a download notice), if there is a need I can make a video on the method). To use this on your desktop or laptop, download the zip file, normally you do not need extract the files into a folder, just click on any of the files in the zip archive. There are 50 messages in each html file, and multiple files per topic usually, i.e. hundreds of posts.
When you click on any of the files your web browser will automatically read the file in the same way that you browse a web site. A major advantage of using html is that by by clicking on the file, an index of topics appears. Then you can click on a message of a post and you will automatically be directed to that specific post message. Additionally you will have the information off-line i.e.. without internet access once you have loaded the file.
If you want to be notified of further topics automatically then I would suggest making an account. Also if you post with your account and request a topic not listed, as time permits I will extract that topic and add it to this page.
All posts are extracted from an archive collected from the Yahoo Groups at the last point prior to Yahoo shutting down the groups. Therefore, posts after 2019 will not be in the archive, however there are about 20 years of posts to draw from.
Feel free to download and post the files on other sites. I do not have the time to update more than this site with the topic files.
