The older 2kw Xantrex Inverter-Charger was replaced with a 3kw Inverter-Charger. The new system has solar panel input and automatic generator start. This project shows a new and different mounting method for the inverter and cabling. Also an additional fan was added that is controlled by a set point controller that reduces the inverter temperature when the temperature exceeds the set point. The controller has a temperature probe to monitor the interior of the inverter for temperature.
