The following disturbing situation is what I found when I began to examine more closely the flexible rubber propane line on my slide out. The line had seriously degraded and was cracked and the rubber sheath was crumbling. This indicated to me that the hose was way beyond its end of life. So I have posted here because others may not have notice this problem, and may want to more closely examine the propane lines.
At the end of the presentation is a list of safety points posted by Sherry in 2011 after a fire at a Quartzite gathering, and a talk by an expert following the fire. I changed the formatting to try to make it more readable on a cell phone and with larger font. My recommendation would be to print these points. I will attach a pdf of the lists.
